This all seems very surreal, but if you haven’t yet seen on my social media, I’m on the front cover of a magazine!
I’ve had to keep it a secret for quite a while so it’s really exciting to be able to share the photoshoot and final piece. Wellington Woman Magazine got in touch a while back and asked if I’d like to be their next cover girl and of course I jumped at the opportunity. Wellington Woman magazine, for those of you who don’t know, is a magazine about the things going on in Wellington and inspiring stories, written and edited by Wellington Women. It’s one of those special, thick, lovely-to-hold magazines that you just want to display on your coffee table to look pretty. It not only looks pretty though, it’s a really interesting read.
I spent the whole late afternoon and evening shooting with them and they created the looks above which I absolutely love. The time day was incredibly relaxed, we just sat and chatted and it didn’t feel at all like I was being interviewed. I left with absolutely no idea what I had said so I was incredibly happy with the interview, considering I blabbed on for so long. I feel like Lauren, the editor, really captured what I’m all about and how I feel about blogging. She covered so many topics and wrote down my ramblings in such a beautiful way. I’ve re-read the piece so many times, I really do love it.
The magazine is available to pick up from various places around Wellington (I know Chaffers Dock New World has it I think but as soon as I know a proper list I'll let you know) and it would mean the world to me if you got one! Head over to Wellington Woman's Instagram to see a list of shops that will have it. I’m so excited to hear what you all think and thanks again for all of your support and encouragement… there’s no way I would have been asked to do this shoot without you guys!
