Each week, The Residents asks a Wellington local to describe their typical, capital day
7:00 - Wake up first thing coffee and cigarette - I know I know disgusting but also a little bit rock n roll! Kids get up and dressed and we drive into Te Aro school - I was so excited to get them back to school I forgot to feed them breakfast!
9:00 - I meet my mum for coffee at Georgia on Victoria Street for a catch up.
10:00 - I make a last minute booking at Medispa for microdermabrasion facial with Keisha. I lie back and basque in the luxury of having my skin basically sandpapered and vacuumed at the same time. After that I decided to walk into the nail bar on lower Cuba Street to get a pedicure - because "treat yo self!"
1:00 - I meet my good pal Greta for a lunch date in the sun at Wharewaka. We have serious life discussions about which cushions to buy for our couches.
3:00 - I pick up kids from school and head to Khandallah summer pool where it looks the whole suburb is in the pool. But super fun times swimming with the kids.
6:00 - I make home made burgers and eat ice cream and debrief with kids about being back at school.
8:30 - I put kids to bed and then I watch YouTube makeup tutorials because I have finished all of the good series on Netflix and I don't know what else to do with my life anymore!
"Please don't judge me on my super luxe day - I am usually a hard working single momz! I promise!!!"
