It’s been over a year since Matt and I went on the final leg of our trip, sailing the Greek Islands with a stopover in Athens.

I kept meaning to write a blog post about our sailing trip this year but in the end, the experience was so natural and unpretentious I didn’t feel like I had the headspace to try and create a narrative around it. Truth be told, I wanted to keep the friendships we made and the magic experiences just for us. I will say we went on the last tour at the start of October so it was very quiet on the islands and occasionally even windier than Wellington (especially Mykonos)!

Rather than write a blog about something that happened a year ago, I’ll just acknowledge that we had an amazing 10 days with Silva, Matias and Annette and allow you to fill in the gaps between these beautiful landscapes in the islands.
