Each week, The Residents asks a Wellington local to describe their typical, capital day
I wake up, have a smoothie for breakfast, packed full of all sorts of goodness. Then I usually clear emails and put order together for Bootleggers. After that, there is a series of meetings with either bar staff or restaurant owners or advisers. There can be some building work thrown in there as well (but that’s becoming less and less which is good). Try to finish work by 5 and go to the gym until 6. Then home to tie up a few loose ends through emails and phone calls. Our flat eat dinner together to usually it’s dinner with the flatmates. On a week night I go to bed early if possible. I try to listen to do some guided meditation or even just take a moment to appreciate all that is going on. It can be as simple as sitting back while having a beer with friends and going yeah, what I am doing is pretty cool and my life is pretty awesome.
